Project Overview
А client approached AP-Print with a large-scale façade project covering more than 2000 m². The entire façade was designed using printed aluminium composite panels, with a predominantly black graphic pattern extending across the building. Our task was to produce the complete set of panels within a tight timeframe, prepare them according to the supplied designs, securely pack the finished production and deliver everything ready for installation.
Large-Scale Production & Colour Consistency
The scale and design of the project made colour consistency one of the key production requirements. Producing a predominantly black design across more than 2000 m² required precise control throughout the printing process. Every section had to maintain the same density and appearance so that, once installed, hundreds of individual panels would visually form one continuous façade. The complete production was carried out under controlled conditions to ensure consistent print quality across the entire project.
Aluminium Composite Panels & UV Printing Technology
For the project, we used aluminium composite panels a rigid, lightweight and dimensionally stable material widely used for exterior façades, architectural applications and outdoor advertising. All graphics were printed directly onto the panels using industrial UV printing technology. UV inks are cured immediately during the printing process, creating a durable printed surface with high colour density, sharp detail and good resistance to outdoor conditions. Direct UV printing also allows large quantities of rigid panels to be produced efficiently without the need for additional printed vinyl application.
Finishing, Packaging & Delivery
Each panel was produced according to its position within the overall façade design and prepared for installation. With a project of this scale, accurate organisation was just as important as print quality every element had to arrive correctly identified, protected and ready for the installation team. The finished panels were carefully packed and prepared for transport to the client. AP-Print also provided a warranty for the completed production. The result is a façade of more than 2000 m² where thousands of square metres of printed composite material come together as one consistent visual surface.
